The facemask can be made by mixing sandalwood with two of three drops of rosewater, the result will by a paste that can be placed onto the skin and left overnight.

Ice works well as a quick solution to reducing the appearance of scars and to soothe skin irritation; this is done by simply placing some ice on the affected area of skin. The ice will work to tighten scars and leave skin with a more even complexion.

Blemishes and dark acne scars can be help by rubbing lemon juice into the affected area of skin. The juice should be applied using a cotton ball and left to soak into the skin for 10-15 minutes before washing away.

The ingredients for a homemade face mask are:


  • 1 tablespoon of sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon of oatmeal
  • 1 tablespoon of yogurt
  • Two or three drops of lemon juice

These ingredients mixed together will form a paste that can be applied to the whole face of just a specific area and left for 10 minutes.
